AAS Thesis Prize
Procedure
- 1.One candidate only to be nominated in each category from each department or school.
- 2.The candidate’s contact details, email and phone number(s) to be provided, as well as
- 3.a letter of recommendation from the supervisor (stating the thesis score awarded), all examiners reports and identification details of the examiners;
- 4.the title and abstract of the thesis (max. one A4 page); and
- 5. one chapter of the thesis.
- 6.The winners will be announced at the 2010 AGM and the prizes awarded at the annual conference dinner.
Nominations are called for the annual AAS thesis prizes for the best Honours thesis and the best PhD / M.A. thesis in the previous year.
The winners will receive a written certificate, a prize of $500, conference registration for the 2010 AAS conference and a conference dinner ticket.
The deadline for submissions is 1 July 2010 for theses assessed at any time in the previous 12 months.
