AAS Newsletter
The AAS Newsletter is one of the major ways in which the Society communicates with its Members, and provides a forum for members to exchange ideas and information about such matters as upcoming conferences, important new publications, and theoretical issues of concern to the profession. It complements this website, and the AAS internet discussion group AASNet.
The Newsletter is produced quarterly, and is distributed electronically to Members, and to subscribing institutions.
Members are encouraged to support the Newsletter, through providing such items as:
- Notices on upcoming conferences;
- Short book reviews or brief notices regarding important new publications;
- Short articles on issues of importance to the discipline (longer articles can be published on this Website);
- Notices and articles of importance to the Society;
The next edition is due out in September, 2006. Please send hard copy to: AAS, LPO Box 8099, ANU, Canberra ACT 2601, or electronic copy to the Editors, Peter Dwyer and Mary Patterson.
